Being a solider in any war, no matter what side you are on is difficult and it can be a very lonely place to be. I can not even begin to image what our US Troops must be going through and what gambit of emotions they are feeling, being in battle zone everyday and the thought of, to kill or be killed running in the back of their mind.
I do not care what others think or say. But I say this, thank you. Thank you for stepping forward and protecting our ways of life. I may not agree with ever aspect of our governments policies. But, I am thankful to be in a Country that allows me to speak my truth and allows me to express my freedom of religion and spirituality. I know that freedom is not FREE!!! But I also know that Peace is never achieved with war.
I'm proud to be a USA Citizen... I stand behind our troops and my country.

Though not intended, Iggy..I see the post was made at 4:44. For belief and research, this is the number for being surrounded by angels and I find it so appropriate.
I agree with your post. Even tho I have never served but my gratitude, respect and awe is all I can offer.
